**Safety Manager (Weekend Remote Position)** **Company:** Astel LLC **Employment Type:** Remote **Work Schedule:** 2 days per week\ **Shift options:** - 2:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Chicago Time) - 2:00 PM – 2:00 AM (Chicago Time) **Salary:** To be discussed during the interview **About the Position:**\ Astel LLC is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Safety Manager to join our team on a remote weekend schedule. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring driver compliance, supporting drivers during roadside inspections, and helping maintain safety standards in accordance with FMCSA regulations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Monitor drivers' logbooks and Hours of Service (HOS) compliance - Review and manage ELD records - Support drivers during roadside situations and DOT inspections - Communicate with drivers regarding safety and compliance matters - Monitor violations and assist in preventing compliance-related issues - Ensure adherence to company safety policies and industry regulations **Requirements:** - At least 1 year of experience in a similar position - Strong understanding of HOS rules and FMCSA regulations - Solid knowledge of logbooks and ELD systems - English proficiency at B2 level or higher - Russian proficiency at B2 level or higher - Strong communication and problem-solving skills - High level of attention to detail and responsibility **What We Offer:** - Fully remote work format - Stable workload and professional team environment - Opportunity to develop expertise in the transportation and logistics industry - Competitive compensation discussed individually during the interview process
