Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer

EPAM Uzbekistan EPAM Uzbekistan is hiring a Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer 🚀 Position: Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer 📍Location: Uzbekistan — Remote or Tashkent office Employment: Full-time Responsibilities: - Manage infrastructure using Oracle Linux, Docker, Kubernetes (K8s/K3s), Helm, Kustomize, and Ansible -Deploy and maintain containerized applications in distributed edge environments - Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and ensure high availability of POS systems - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD - Implement automated testing, security scanning, and deployment processes - Manage GitOps workflows and optimize deployment efficiency - Configure and maintain FluentBit, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Grafana - Create dashboards, alerts, and support incident response - Develop platform tools, scripts, and automation for development teams - Collaborate with architects and development teams in an Agile environment Requirements: 3+ years of hands-on experience with Linux administration, Docker, and Kubernetes - Strong knowledge of CI/CD, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and GitOps - Experience with FluentBit, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Grafana - Proficiency in Ansible, Helm, Kustomize, and Infrastructure as Code - Strong Bash and Python scripting skills - Understanding of edge computing and distributed infrastructure - Knowledge of DevOps security practices, secrets management, and secure configurations - Knowledge of networking, load balancing, and service mesh technologies - Understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery principles - Strong problem-solving and communication skills - English proficiency at B2 level or higher Retail/POS experience is an advantage What we offer: - Fully remote work from anywhere in Uzbekistan or from the Tashkent office - Opportunity to work abroad for up to 2 months per year - Relocation opportunities across 55+ countries - GCP, Azure, and AWS certification opportunities - Free English classes with certified teachers - Career development and leadership programs - Medical and family care package - Discounts for fitness clubs and sports programs - Referral bonuses and other benefits @unilance - the best for you
