IT Infrastructure & Security Engineer

Serene Pharma We’re Hiring: IT Infrastructure & Security Engineer – Uzbekistan Location: Uzbekistan Hiring from: India Experience: 3+ years Work Type: Full-time, On-site We are looking for a Senior IT Infrastructure & Security Engineer from India to join our team in Uzbekistan This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable working across Microsoft infrastructure, endpoint management, networking, servers, cybersecurity, storage, backup, and overall IT architecture. Key Responsibilities & Required Skills: • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 enterprise environments, including Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, MDM and endpoint security policies • Experience implementing and enforcing MDM and security policies • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, identity management and hybrid environments • Good understanding of IT system architecture and enterprise infrastructure design • Strong experience with networking and system administration • Experience managing physical and virtual servers • Knowledge of server and data-center architecture including: * Server clusters * High availability * Storage arrays * Virtualization * Enterprise storage architecture • Experience with backup infrastructure, disaster recovery and NAS solutions • Understanding of cybersecurity architecture and operations • Experience with or strong knowledge of the Palo Alto Networks security stack, including: * Next-Generation Firewalls * Cortex XDR * Endpoint security * Threat prevention and monitoring • Knowledge of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) • Understanding of IT risk management, security risk assessment and mitigation • Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and work independently across multiple IT domains Preferred Qualifications • Experience working in a GMP-regulated / pharmaceutical manufacturing environment • Knowledge of GMP compliance requirements related to IT systems and infrastructure • Russian language knowledge is an advantage • Knowledge of AI and its practical use in business processes and automation What We Provide: - Company-provided accommodation on-site - Three meals per day - Company transportation between our different office/facility locations - Opportunity to gain international work experience in Uzbekistan - Opportunity to work directly on the development and modernization of enterprise IT infrastructure across multiple locations - Compensation: Competitive and based on experience; discussed during the interview.
