Data Smart Solutions LLC #middle #dataengineer Middle Data Engineer We are looking for a Middle Data Engineer with strong experience in SQL, AWS, data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and pipeline orchestration to help build and develop a new R&D data warehouse. Company: Data Smart Solutions LLC Role: Middle Data Engineer Salary: $600-$800 Format: Remote Core Requirements • Strong SQL and hands-on experience with Amazon Redshift — COPY, MERGE/upserts, staging/final tables • Experience with AWS S3 and Parquet-based data ingestion • Experience with AWS EMR and Apache Spark • Strong understanding of AWS DMS, CDC, full and incremental loads • Experience with Apache Airflow and DAG orchestration • Experience with data warehousing, data modeling, and data architecture • Understanding of data contracts, schema validation, and data quality • Ability to independently design and deliver production-ready pipelines • Strong code review, PR, and software engineering practices Nice to Have • Experience migrating Informatica workflows to Airflow • Experience building data warehouses from scratch • Experience with CDC-based architectures • Mentoring or technical leadership experience What You’ll Work On • Building and developing the R&D data warehouse • Designing ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS services • Processing data with S3, EMR/Spark, and Redshift • Implementing CDC and incremental data loads • Building and maintaining Airflow DAGs • Implementing schema validation and data quality checks • Participating in architecture and requirements discussions • Reviewing code and improving existing data pipelines What We Offer • Fully remote work • Modern AWS-based data stack • International data engineering projects • Opportunity to build a data warehouse from the ground up • Professional growth and technical ownership • Collaboration with an experienced data engineering team Ready to apply?
