zehnmind.ai #backend #python #fastapi Backend Developer (Senior) — zehnmind.ai Company: zehnmind.ai Location: Tashkent (office-based) Type: Full-time Salary: $3,000/month We're looking for a senior backend engineer to build the APIs and infrastructure behind our AI products — FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, and AI integrations through MCP. Key responsibilities • Design and develop RESTful APIs using FastAPI • Design, optimize and maintain PostgreSQL schemas and queries • Write unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability and coverage • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment • Containerize and orchestrate services with Docker and Kubernetes • Implement authentication, authorization and secure coding practices (input validation, secrets management, OWASP guidelines) • Integrate AI capabilities into backend systems using MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers/tools • Optimize application performance and database query efficiency • Deploy and monitor services on cloud infrastructure • Collaborate with frontend and product teams to integrate backend capabilities • Maintain version-controlled, well-documented codebases Requirements • 3+ years of backend development experience (middle level or above) • Strong proficiency in Python and FastAPI • Solid PostgreSQL experience — schema design, indexing, query optimization, migrations • Experience writing unit tests (pytest or similar) and following TDD best practices • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or similar) • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments • Understanding of REST API design principles and best practices • Knowledge of application security fundamentals — authentication/authorization, data encryption, vulnerability scanning, secure API design • Version control with Git and collaborative development practices • Languages: Uzbek C1, English B2 or above Good to have • Experience with MCP for connecting AI tools/agents to backend services • Async Python (asyncio, SQLAlchemy async or similar) • Message queues — RabbitMQ, Kafka or Redis • Cloud platforms — AWS, GCP or Azure • SQLAlchemy ORM and Alembic migrations • Caching strategies — Redis, Memcached Key skills: Python · FastAPI · PostgreSQL · Docker · Kubernetes · CI/CD · GitHub · GitLab · OWASP How to apply Send your CV and GitHub/portfolio link to careers@zehnmind.ai or career@zehnmind.ai Know a strong backend engineer?
