Senior QA Engineer / Senior QA Tester

Datox Datox is hiring: Senior QA Engineer / Senior QA Tester (Remote) 💼 About Datox Datox helps investment firms and financial institutions automate and simplify multi-jurisdiction regulatory reporting (UK, EU, and beyond) with an AI-powered, collaborative platform that replaces brittle, spreadsheet-like workflows. 📌 What You’ll Do • Own QA strategy and quality across complex, data-intensive product workflows • Design and execute comprehensive test strategies covering functional, regression, integration, API, exploratory, and end-to-end testing • Analyze complex product requirements and identify risks, edge cases, dependencies, and gaps before implementation • Test critical workflows involving data ingestion, file parsing, transformation, validation, AI-generated outputs, mapping, bulk operations, and regulatory report generation • Build and maintain scalable test suites and establish effective regression coverage for rapidly evolving features • Validate data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across different reporting types, jurisdictions (FCA, ESMA, SEC), and reporting periods • Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, designers, and business stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle • Lead exploratory and risk-based testing for high-impact and mission-critical workflows 💡 You’re a fit if you have: • 5+ years of professional QA/testing experience, preferably in B2B SaaS, fintech, enterprise software, or data-intensive products • Strong experience testing complex, multi-step workflows and business-critical applications • Proven ability to independently own QA for features or product areas from requirements through release • Strong understanding of test strategy, risk-based testing, regression planning, and software quality practices • Experience with API testing, database validation, and debugging issues across multiple system layers • Strong SQL skills and experience validating data at the database level • Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly explain technical issues, risks, and quality trade-offs • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of quality decisions in a fast-moving environment • Experience with financial services, regulatory reporting, or complex data workflows is a strong plus 🧩 Why Join Datox: • Own quality for mission-critical financial software used in complex regulatory workflows • Work closely with technical and business leaders • Help build scalable QA processes from the ground up • Work on challenging data, automation, and AI-driven workflows • Fast-paced environment with real product ownership and no unnecessary bureaucracy 📩 How to apply: Please send your CV along with a brief overview of your QA experience and the types of systems/products you have tested.
